If one definition of a
Person
Is a
“Being of Sound”,
Then let no one shut you up -
For your life is a sonic one,
Played out in harmonies
Of idea and innuendo as
Thoughts turn into flesh
Upon leaving your mouth in flight.
You vibrate with the multi-verse,
Sending up signposts in
Laughs
Sobs
Moans
Shouts
And the melody of song.
Sonic life
Sonic youth
Sonic sage
In old age
Let sound or silence
Be your choice -
For they might kill you
By covering your mouth
And telling you not to
Scream.
