Somehow through living, you lose your soul
If mere survival’s your only goal.

Don’t trade illusions for what’s real.
Paycheck to paycheck will take it’s toll.
Beg, borrow, or steal:

Fail to dream, forget to feel!
Blind to treasure, you’ll become a mole
If mere survival’s your only goal.
Beg, borrow, or steal…
