Desire

I wrote this hay(na)ku chain for the Monday Mural prompt from Poefusion. This week’s mural is pictured above. Enjoy.

hair
pinned up
reveals blank skin

smooth
angles and
rounded flesh corners

my
lips want
to travel and

navigate
her neck
in slow motion

I
want to
smell sweet pheromones

unlocked
by my
tender massaging fingers

I
want to
emancipate her hair

deliver
it from
hair clip bondage

and
let it
flow in rivers

of
black down
her brown neck

I
want her
to be real

and
not sealed
in sketch paper

  1. Your poem reminds me of the song Take On Me by Aha. I really liked the video because the sketch came to life just like you are wishing for here. Nice job. Keep up the good work. Have a nice day.

  6. Thank you, all, for your compliments. I thought I’d take a walk on the sensual side with this one. Of course, the sketch definitely lends itself to this.
