I think on the whole in American society we are so driven for success that we forgo the things that our bodies and minds need to run properly – including rest. I think I’ll take the longer life and the piece of mind over an early exit out of a meaningless life…and a life without love, family, friends, laughter, and higher purpose is meaningless.

I was fascinated by the soji when I first saw a post about it on Poefusion a few days ago. I will have to write more of them.
