This is a wonderful senryu post. To put all that energy into silver coating and being attractive and then not to be admired. . . lots to think about with this poem.

Thanks everyone…this was written from a place where I was during my first marriage…almost fifteen years ago. Not a fun place to be in. There are still sometimes that I wonder what was really me and what is leftover from me trying to be like him so that he’d stay. How foolish I was…
