This piece of yours, Assent To Darkness, inspired me to put some finishing touches on a ‘rhyme-noir’ piece I’d had kicking around in my early-draft portfolio.

This is great. I didn’t think anyone was going to make it darker than the original but you sure succeeded. the “corpses in the dark” line hits you like a kick in the head. I really like this a lot.
