Kreative Blogger Award

I received the Kreative Blogger award from Michelle Johnson yesterday. Michelle has several blogs: Poefusion, Poevies, Shades of Mj, and Photo N Thesis. She also has Blog Awards, which is where I found out I’d been given this award by Michelle (see the original post at: http://blog-awards.blogspot.com/2008/10/kreativ-blogger.html).

I first encountered her Poefusion blog through the weekly Monday Mural and Friday Five prompts back in June of this year when I began writing for those prompts. Time doesn’t permit me to write for both every week now, but I still keep coming back for her thought-provoking and inspiring prompts. You can see what I’ve written for Friday Five (http://ravenswingpoetry.com/tag/friday-five/) and Monday Mural (http://ravenswingpoetry.com/tag/monday-mural/).

This is the first blog award that RWP has ever received. Michelle, I am honored and flattered that you believe RWP to be worthy of this award. Thank you!!!!

Now, here are the rules for passing along this award. Name six values that are important to you and six things you do not support. When you’ve finished name six people you want to share this blog award with and let them know they’ve been chosen.

The 6 things that are important to me:

  1. The knowledge in my heart of God and his/her love
  2. My fiancé and his support and love
  3. Writing
  4. The beauty I find around me wherever I go
  5. Music
  6. The opportunities that Columbus poetry groups such as Writer’s Block (http://www.writersblockpoetry.com) and Writing Wrongs (http://myspace.com/writingwrongspoetry) have given me to read my work in public and get it heard

The 6 things I don’t like:

  1. Self-destruction
  2. Mediocrity, banality, the ordinary
  3. Telemarketing calls
  4. Long meetings
  5. War
  6. The lack of love in this world

The 6 bloggers I passed this award onto:

  1. Exhaust Fumes and French Fries
  2. Just Paisley
  3. Mine Enemy Grows Older
  4. Words That Sing
  5. Epiphany: Amour Habito Intus Vos
  6. Fragments of Reality
