Music

This triptych poem was written for One Single Impression prompt #34: Never Ending. Enjoy.

—————————————————

soft, mad luster sparkling wet dreams elude my ears
just out of reach and the aural orgasms become my friends
I give chase within my mind tease my senses
from my lips never-ending pleas drip like lavender
the songs echo and never-ending joys bruise my heart
on the edge assaulted by wicked Eros I remain, perched
of luscious perception I speak, held in stasis by denied orgasm
this is music this is music this is music
I kneel I feel I steal
a willing masochist enraptured in bittersweet liquid tones and livid words
release me and the orgasms will spill onto paper
through my pen explode forever into stars and I am spent
only to begin the sweet torture again
seduce me again I will never refuse your machinations
give me life give me love give me words
give me beauty I will never refuse to sing
forever forever forever

    Very nice pic… yours always… :)

  2. I love the construction of this. I work a lot with patter poetry, and have written something similar to this – not the subject, but verses that can be read horizontally and vertically as well. This is good!

  3. punatik says:

This is a Masterpiece. I have not been to visit your site lately, and I’m glad I did today. A Majestic piece of writing !

  4. anthonynorth says:

A technical and difficult interpretation of the prompt. Very well done.

  5. Barb's Haiku says:

Bravo! I read them in columns first, then as one from left to write, which is my favorite, Brilliant!

  6. Pam says:

I know this form must have taken a lot of work. You meshed your columns and lines wonderfully.
