Read Write Poem Folks: Please Take This Poll.

Greetings!

I’ve just set up a short poll to get an idea, in numbers, as to where do we go from here. Considering that RWP will stop offering weekly prompt and new content after May 1, I thought it would be a good idea to get an idea now as to the direction that people are wanting to go in. Please answer the poll below, encourage your fellow RWP’ers to respond, and so forth. PLEASE SPREAD THE WORD!

April 2010 Poetry Super Highway Worldwide Open Reading Online Now!

The April 2010 Edition of Poetry Super Highway Worldwide Open Reading is online now! The broadcast included poets from Canada, Washington, DC, Newark, NJ (of course), Desert Hot Springs, CA, Long Beach, CA and Los Angeles, CA, along with a spoken word track from Columbus, OH in absentia. That was me, reading my poem “The Creek”, which was published in MediaVirus Issue #8 back in March (which is no longer online — but I plan to repub it her sometime in the future).

The next show is scheduled for Sunday, May 16, 2010 @ 2:00 PM Pacific/5:00 PM Eastern. For more information, see the PSH Live website.

I’m Writing for NaPoWriMo (National Poetry Month), 2010

Greetings!

I had pledged to write a poem a day over at Read Write Poem. Unfortunately, due to a short absence from the interwebs, I’m behind on poems and won’t be able to complete their challenge. BUT, I will still write 30 poems in 30 days.

I’m approaching this in a looser manner. I may (or may not) write to the RWP daily prompts. But I will be writing. Something. Some of the poems may be related to personal projects I’m working on. But nonetheless, I will be writing.

Soooo….I will be password protecting many of these poems, to avoid them being considered “published” until I am happy with them. If you want to read *anything* that is password protected, please hit me up via comment moderation or backchannel (via the email addy on my About the Poet page). Please, as always, comments are welcome on *any* poem.

And if you want to read these poems, you can find them all here.
