A study in "vibrations" - what colors are - but what vibrates, that's exactly the same material and energy. I like your use of colors as thread for your poem Nicole. I like that colors inhabit this world view here described and how that palette rubs into you in such physical manner - making it feel very intimate. Thanks Nicole.

Nicole, a lovely extended metaphor of color to portray those lost words. Very powerful, ending with that question, most appropriate for Donald's prompt. I like where you explored. Thanks.

Hi Nicole, I like the imagery of the second stanza. And am delighted that the ipad is helping the non-verbal. My son is a bit non-verbal and thinks visually. I could relate. It's good to see how you're writing Asperger poems. The world needs that voice.

Absolutely fantastic work, Nicole. When we are seen as being different, who is the one left feeling uncomfortable, us or them? You have once again taken a prompt and completely owned it in the most beautiful way possible.

Wonderful weave of history and symbolism here... being a minority, being hated, pitied, or feared, the best weapon one has is to turn what are seen as flaws and re-forge them into blessings.
Niki, nicely done. I love the way you used colors to contrast the poem and support the powerful content that you have presented in it. Wonderful impression of the prompt.
