Every Wednesday:

Writer’s Block Poetry Night at Kafe Kerouac, 2250 N. High Street, Columbus, OH, 43201, has their open mics and slams every Wednesday.

Every First and Third Tuesday:

Writing Wrongs holds their bimonthly poetry show @ the Urban Spirit Coffee Shop on the First and Third Tuesday of every month.. The show runs from 8PM until 11PM. Urban Spirit Coffee Shop is located at 893 E Long St, Columbus, OH. Admission $5 ($4 w/student ID). The show is awesome and usually includes an open mic, a feature, and in most cases, a slam.

Every Second Sunday:

Poetry Super Highway holds its Worldwide Open Reading every second Sunday at 2:00 pm PDT/5:00 pm EST.

Rick Luppert, the creator and webmaster of PSH, says to “call in and read your poetry, open mic style. No content or style restrictions. Share details about your local poetry community with our listeners. We want to hear you!”

Every Third Friday

Writer’s Block holds its First Draft Poetry Night every Third Friday at 8:00 PM at Kafe Kerouac, 2250 N. High Street, Columbus, Ohio. Admission is $3. This is a night to read new poems only and is hosted by WB’s only Joanna Schroeder.

Wet Ink is an erotic poetry night held quarterly by Writer’s Block Poetry. There is always an open mic and usually featured poets and/or a slam. If you want to hear soem sexy, poetic hotness, this is the place to be!
