Do you know Alien Hippy’s blog? http://alienhippy.wordpress.com/ She only discovered as an adult that she had Asperger’s. She writes simply and with heart and does a lot to educate others about the condition, just by being herself. Well worth a look.

I’m bipolar and consider it a gift as well – that alternate take on the universe is much needed from us, just as much as we need the self-expression!
